Behind the lens
Hello, we are your photographers! Allow us to introduce ourselves. Our names are Micah and Casey. We are both native mid-westerners (Go Hoosiers!) relocated to Sarasota, Florida. We grew up in the same small town, most of our lives, only 10 minutes down the road from each other. From my grandpa cutting Micah’s hair as a little boy, to meeting in the sixth grade, to starting to date when we were just 15 years old, we have become “for real” pals! We cherish the gift of growing up together, and navigating this life, hand in hand!
Roles
Casey is the primary shooter, email and social media manager, and magic behind the editing!
Micah is the secondary shooter, the artistic mind, the coffee connoisseur, and manages the business side of things!
More about Mike
Micah is a sixth grade teacher at a private academy in Sarasota, FL, and a creative at heart. He is an avid musician and absolute nut when it comes to music. He LOVES it. He thoroughly enjoys craft drinks of all kinds and specializes in espresso base cafe drinks in our “intense” home barista set up. He is always learning, reading, meeting new people, and attempting to cultivate deep relationships. He desires to eventually be a minimalist and a writer. A 4 on the Enneagram. Unequivocally an extrovert. Most of all, he desires deeply to practice the way of, and follow, Jesus of Nazareth with his entire being: the impetus and purpose for all that is above.
Get to know Casey
Casey is an old soul at heart. While Micah is unequivocally an extrovert, Casey is quite the opposite; an introvert indeed. She is an avid reader and has recently been diving into bread making and sewing. Like Micah, she has a creative mind. Whether it be through photographs or an arrangement of backyard flowers, Casey has a love for cultivating beautiful things. She also has a heart for the people who tend to be overlooked by this world. This is probably what lead Casey to learn and study American sign language in college, so that she would be able to communicate the value and worth that is in each person. Casey feels her deepest call in life is motherhood. This is her greatest blessing and fills her with true joy. She is devoted to raising passionate followers of Jesus.
